Quarantined Art History | Edgar Degas

Edgar Degas is one of my other personal favorites! I love the way he paints the ballerinas, which he is famous for.

So we’re touching briefly on Impressionism, which there are several other artists who do this same style. And we’re also talking a little on inspiration. I’ve started adding a “discussion” section, which there isn’t room to write answers, so that you begin to learn to discuss your feelings on the artist and their work.

Remember, there are no right or wrong answers when it comes to discussing art. Whatever you think about a piece is valid thinking! Don’t feel shy or embarrassed to share your feelings. You won’t look silly.

Download the lesson for free below, print it off and get to experiencing Degas!
